Although I have always had a fascination with letters, I was 40 before I took calligraphy classes. From a child, I have always been intensely creative and more so as my children have flown from the nest.
I
taught calligraphy and craft classes for 15 years and now take paper pleasures
workshops for my own and local calligraphy guilds.
I am particularly interested in finding practical and fun uses for calligraphy, especially in the form of hand made books. I am one of very few overseas members of the North Redwood Book Arts Guild in California, and a founder member of “Quarto” – a bookarts group which meets in the North of England.
